My did that year pass quickly. Please give Emma an extra big birthday hug from me. We'll have to have a little post birthday
time together so that she can absolutely destroy a birthday cupcake, and we'll take picture after picture of Princess Emma all gooey..

We are thinking of you and all about your busy life.
Just know that we are standing by you as you decide about things.
You are now age 1, and I see in your eyes that you're smart and discerning. You are very aware.
Your face and your eyes are so precious and beautiful. You have the hands of a pianist.
So when I see you next we will spend a little time in front of the piano
so you can work on your songwriting if you like..and then we can go down to the lake
and watch the waves and have a little snack and you can tell me how everything is.
