signaling

Even though I don't have many words yet, here is one thing I already can do: I can sign with my hands. Pretty cool. I started to learn it at daycare, then figured out how to show mommy and daddy what I want at home too. First I thought they were dumb not getting my sign for 'more' when I wanted more reading last night. Then they looked my sign up online and there it was what I meant. Then mom got a list of baby sign language today; I hope she'll be better. Tonight I even put together a sentence, I did the 'more' and followed by 'food'. :-) Who is in a hurry to learn to speak when it's so much more fun?!

Another thing I'm big at is helping. Helping with dvd-s, helping with the laundry basket, helping around the kitchen floor and cabinets, helping with putting shoes away. When I get in the way, mom usually removes me but that really annoys me, she needs to figure out a better way to distract me, which is not easy when I'm on the mission. I also like bringing stuff to people and sometimes I can even understand what they ask for.

Tonight before bed mom and I were reading the picture books and we got to the one of a black coat. Mom said 'kabat/coat', but then I remembered that in the other book there was a word sounded similar, so I looked it up and showed it to her. It was 'kecske/goat'. It might have just been a lucky thing that I found that, but mom was happy and repeated those words to me about a hundred times.

I looove shoes -

Cutiepie: It is so nice to get such a nice long letter from you. You are a rascal and work hard at bugging your mommy -

Don't forget you have a gift card from me for a trip to the Shoe Zoo.

Mommy says she is going to take you to the real Minnesota Zoo. You will love that too.

LOVE maga
